Advertisement for the Appointment of External Auditors

The Nasarawa State Education Trust Fund (NASETFUND) hereby invites

qualified and reputable Audit firms to submit Expression of Interest for appointment

as external Auditors of the Fund.


Scope of Engagement


The External Auditor shall be responsible for;

  • Auditing 2025 Accounts for NASETFUND and public sector guidelines.
  • Auditing the 2026 annual financial statement of NASETFUND
  • Expressing independent opinion in line with applicable accounting and auditing standards.
  • Submitting Audit reports within stipulated time to facilitate early forwarding of the State Auditor, General’s report to the State House of Assembly


Eligibility Requirement


Interested firms must meet the following requirement

  • Purchase the regulation form from NASETFUND at the cost of N50,000 (Fifty Thousand Naira Only) Through: Account 0080062499 with Account Name NASETFUND Bidding/Tenders; Premium Trust Bank.
  • Evidence of regulation with Corporate Affairs Commission
  • Evidence of regulation and good standing with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and /or Association of Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN)
  • Current practicing licence of the firm
  • Evidence of Tax clearance certificate for the last three (3) years
  • Proven experience in auditing public sector organization trust fund or similar institutions
  • Detailed firm profile, including names and qualifications of key audit personnel.


Submission of Applications

Interested Audit firms should submit one (1) bound hard copy of their Expression

of Interest in a sealed envelope clearly marked on or before 14 days of this
