Volunteers

NASETFUND is seeking passionate and committed volunteers to support its educational development initiatives aimed at improving learning outcomes across schools and communities. Volunteers will play a vital role in delivering academic support, mentoring students, and contributing to programs that promote excellence in education.

Selected volunteers will be assigned to support teaching, tutoring, and capacity-building activities in the following subject areas:

  • Technical Education
  • Science Education
  • Mathematics
  • English Language

Volunteers will work closely with schools, students, and program coordinators to provide instructional support, assist with educational projects, and help strengthen learning opportunities for beneficiaries of NASETFUND interventions. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education, youth development, and community service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide academic support and tutoring in assigned subject areas.
  • Assist in classroom instruction and educational outreach programs.
  • Support curriculum delivery and student learning activities.
  • Participate in training sessions, workshops, and educational development programs.
  • Mentor students and encourage academic excellence.
  • Submit reports and feedback on assigned activities when required.
  • Represent NASETFUND professionally in all assigned communities and institutions.
Qualifications

Applicants must possess any of the following qualifications from recognized institutions:

  • Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE)
  • National Diploma (ND) / Higher National Diploma (HND)
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Master’s Degree

Applicants must have academic backgrounds or demonstrated competence in any of the following areas:

  • Technical Education
  • Science-related disciplines
  • Mathematics
  • English Language / English Education
Requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for education and community development
  • Ability to work effectively in diverse environments
  • Good teaching, mentoring, or facilitation skills will be an added advantage
  • Must be willing to serve in assigned locations within program areas
